A dual-head stethoscope for the pre-operative clinic. Cataract and refractive assessments include a general health review, and a baseline taken in the building is worth more than one copied from a letter.
The chest piece is machined stainless steel with a tunable diaphragm on one face and an open bell on the other. The tubing is a single lumen, which keeps the rubbing noise down when it is worn around the neck between patients.
Ear tips come in three sizes because a poor seal is the most common reason a stethoscope is blamed for being quiet. The headset tension adjusts by hand.
Supplied with the spare tips, a replacement diaphragm and a name tag for the tubing.
