A binocular laboratory microscope for the glazing lab: lens coatings, edge finish and the tiny inclusions a loupe will not resolve.
Added. The demo store has no checkout behind it — the cart in the header shows a fixed basket.
A binocular laboratory microscope for the bench behind the dispensary. Four objectives on a rotating nosepiece cover the range a glazing lab actually needs, from checking an edge finish to resolving an inclusion in a lens blank.
Coarse and fine focus are on the same shaft with adjustable tension, and the mechanical stage moves in both axes with vernier scales, so a fault can be found once and then found again.
Illumination is a cool LED with a rheostat, which matters when the operator is looking through it for an hour: the older halogen units warm the stage and the sample with it.
Supplied with a dust cover, a spare bulb assembly, immersion oil and a set of blank slides.
